Lamb Rib Stew (Çekdirme)
Serves 8-10
- 3 kg lamb ribs
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1 l (4 cups) water
- 3 tomatoes
- 3 onions
- Cut the lamb ribs apart and put them in a stewpot. Add the salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes and water. Bring to a boil over high heat and skim off the foam as it forms.
- After 10 minutes of boiling, add the whole tomatoes and onions. Cover the pot, reduce the heat to low, and cook until the meat is tender. Serve right away.
