Rice Pudding (Süýtli Tüwi)
Serves 4
- 1 l milk
- 200 g (1 cup) rice
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- dab of butter
In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Add the rice and stir for a few seconds. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add a dab of butter and simmer for 5 more minutes or until the rice is tender. Stir in the sugar and turn off the heat. Serve warm or cold.
